If ever there was a year that we had an excuse to stay put during the holidays, it was this year. We were married in June, so a) we've seen family a bit more frequently than we would in a normal year and b) we've already spent a lot of money on travel. Add in the fact that air fare was ridiculously high this holiday season, and it all adds up to a Brooklyn holiday staycation!
And it just so happens that we've been planning a handful of projects around the house (and when I say house, I mean little Brooklyn apartment), so our holiday week is being spent sanding, screwing (get your mind out of the gutter), staining and moving furniture.
